In this world, everything is governed by balance. There’s what you stand to gain and what you stand to lose. And when you think you’ve got nothing to lose, you become overconfident. With this you gain strength. Throughout this blog session I have learned a lot about life. About how one must live to not constantly be down on themselves, about how others affect one and how you can gain strength through your life. In the pressure of many different situations, people face stress, anxiety, and may lose sense of pride. A lot of different scenarios can set someone off, from a simple comeback line, to losing a dog. The ways we face these are what set us apart from each other. I will give more information during my ted talk.

Hello fellow bloggers, this past week, I asked an old bully to press the gas pedal and he said that he will not bully me. With this, I just want to point out that people do change and Aidan can be a good person. Anyways, coming to they end and I did not have someone to bully me, I realized that daily I am dealt with responsibilities that stress me out and am bullied so it does not really matter if he does, he just let me see something else. While going through the days, I have figured that you always need to have something that you can go to when you are stressed, whether that be basketball, music, decking a brick wall, running or whatever else, you need to get your mind off of things because even though you may say it's whatever like I have learned to, the negativity still just sits and you are not growing. In order to grow you need to get by whatever obstacle has you down.

Hey, how was your week? Mine was great until this girl in class came up to me and told me that she hated me, I asked why and she said because I'm an easy person to hate and then told me "why don't you write about that in your blog," so here I am. I'm Just kidding I honestly do not really care if someone hates me anymore. during this week, I was looking at how time management can affect your mood, mindset and stress. To be completely honest I was not surprised at all, I found that if you procrastinate it puts more stress on you, if you do not use your time wisely and basically just go out on a limb in life and have no type of schedule, things can get in the way and then you can get more behind and become more stressed, and more down on yourself. Many times this is where last week my theory is flawed, "don't ever care", sometimes you need to make sure you put effort forth into things and get stuff done in order for you to not become more stressed. School is a great opportunity for us to learn about this, we need to figure out what we want to do vs. what we need to do and it can either make or break us. Next week I plan on having a kid that has bullied me for years basically just have the turbo kit so then I can see how much I have learned in this project.

What's goodie, hoodie? This week I based my project completely off of mindset. One mindset that I tried was that I needed to be happy always and that I should always try to be this perfect person. The thing about this was it seemed to backfire. Whenever this didn't work, it truly didn't work, like I would get really mad or sad and I'd just have a terrible mindset. While setting goals, if I didn't achieve them I would get mad at myself and it would set me off for the next day and I would just keep a domino effect. The mindset that worked best for me is a mindset that honestly sorta suprised me. Whenever something happened, I would just say it's whatever. I realized that it's done, it's over with and that it is what it is, I have no control over the actions of the past so I just took that mindset and it really went well. I wasn't ever stressed. As for goals I went with not setting any. When playing ball I just went to the game and I would tell myself "I'm gonna play my ball." That's it, not I'm going to get 15 points tonight, just that I don't want to play anyone else's style but mine. This all kept me in a form that really seemed to be pure within myself and honestly, I loved it. I told some people about it and they were against it but quite frankly, I didn't really care because it was helping me, sometimes you need to be a little selfish when it comes to your mental health. Next week I will be looking at how time management may effect your mood and mindset.

This week I decided to jump ahead a little bit. I was trying my friends method of "therapy". So I did both sitting in the shower letting the cold water pound me in the face and I also took an ice bath. During both of these I really only had one thought and that was, "other people have been through worse, I think you can handle a little cold." Throughout the progression I just got a little used to it and as the week passed on I got this "it is what it is" mindset. This just allowed me to not really care about all the crap that was happening around me and it was sorta nice. Really the only thing I thought about was why am I sitting on the floor of a shower...

Many people go through rough patches in their lives. They don't know what to do so they seek one of two options; loneliness or help. This past week I didn't know what happened to me, this is supposed to help me but I went through something and I wasn't myself. Nothing was right. But everyday you have to go into the day with the mindset that it's your day. No matter what happens you do your job and be confident. One quote I've always seen in Mrs. Crews' room and love is, "Tigers don't lose sleep over the opinions of sheep." - Zag. Now I don't have one clue who Zag is but that is straight facts. In order to make yourself become the competitor you need to be, to get the top spot at your work, whatever it is, you can't let people get in your head and tell you simple things that will bring you down. Play your game. Last week I had a kid on a team tell me at the end of the game while we were shaking hands that I am the softest kid on the team. Instead of getting over it, I thought about it for days. Before last week I would've just told him to play me one on one, but for some reason something was getting to me last week and I was soft and it was showing. Always be the tiger. Never turn down just because of something someone says. Whenever someone says anything negative towards you it's either because they are mad or they see you as competition that they know they can't beat.

The world can be a very wicked place, but you have the influence to change it all for yourself. Many people have the mindset that things last forever, and everything is their fault, these people are know as pessimists. Others have the mindset that actions in life are temporary and that what goes wrong is not their fault, these people are known as optimists. Pessimists hurt themselves by using the words "can't", "should", "won't". Examples of these are I can't make the basket, I should read my book instead of play video games, or I won't find any friends in college. They bigger picture of this is what is keeping you from shooting and making the basket? Why aren't you reading right now? Why can't you make friends in college? All of these answers would be replied with a simple reply that is just about how they aren't good enough to or how they don't want to, but the thing is, with that mindset you aren't bettering yourself. Optimists may use these words but they use them in different manners. For example, the weather is bad but that won't be a problem, when should I get to work or I love brussels sprouts, I just can't stand mushrooms. My point is they use negative words in a productive manner and keep building up in their lives. I had more to say but I did this and forgot didn't have the time to finish and then forgot to post so I will catch up with you next week.
